01 / The short answer

Golden Glow is our featured preview.

A skincare-focused concept from Goldy Glow, with marine collagen, hyaluronic acid and carotenoids in a proposed Peach Nectar formula.

Golden Glow’s current product page describes it as a beauty supplement in development, not a tanning agent. That makes it a preview to follow—not a finished product we can name as an efficacy winner.

Publisher disclosure: this is a brand-led guide created for Gold Coast Tanning. Golden Glow was selected as the feature. “Top 5” means this five-product shortlist, not an independent market-wide ranking.

Our editorial rule

Scores assess published buying information—not tanning effectiveness, safety or customer satisfaction. We have not tested these products.

02 / At a glance

The five compared

Golden Glow appears first as our feature. The order is not a performance ranking. A bigger ingredient number is not automatically better.

The appeal is the breadth of the planned formula. The limitation is its development status: ingredient studies do not prove what the finished gummies will do.

BRONZ'D
02 The lower-priced AUD option

BRONZ'D

Sunless Tanning Gummies

4.0 / 5Information rating
A$39.99

The lowest single-pack AUD price among the four AUD-priced products in this edit. Its published panel lists 3 mg astaxanthin and 5 mg lycopene per two-gummy serving.

What is clear

A published ingredient list and clear pack pricing.

WHAT TO CHECK

The vitamin A / beta-carotene reporting basis needs clarification.

Before you choose: The panel labels one row “Vitamin A (Beta Carotene)” at 800 micrograms. Ask the brand to clarify the reporting basis before comparing it with beta-carotene milligrams elsewhere. Its suggested colour timeline is a marketing claim, not a result we independently verified.

Andie
03 The one-gummy routine

Andie

Glow Gummies · Watermelon

4.0 / 5Information rating
A$59

A straightforward one-a-day format. Andie publishes a full ingredient list naming lycopene, beta-carotene and astaxanthin, plus explicit suitability cautions.

What is clear

Clear daily directions and allergen information.

WHAT TO CHECK

Quantified carotenoid amounts were not verified.

Before you choose: The brand describes it as vegan-friendly but warns that milk and soy may be present. It excludes pregnant or breastfeeding people and smokers.

The detailed nutrient panel

The Euro Tan

Glow Gummies

A$43.99

60 gummies · 2 daily · 30-day supply

The website’s supplement-facts image specifies 25 mg beta-carotene, 2 mg lycopene and 1 mg astaxanthin per two-gummy serving. That is more useful than a front-label number without a serving basis.

PROS

  • — Featured nutrient amounts have a daily-serving basis.

CONS

  • — The complete ingredient and allergen label still needs checking.

Before you choose: Higher beta-carotene is not automatically a benefit. Current or former smokers should discuss beta-carotene supplements with a clinician before use.

05

The international option

Asuno

Tanning Gummies · Peach-mango

€89.99

EUR · one-time pack · 2 daily · one-month supply

Asuno’s ingredient guide states 4 mg beta-carotene, 2 mg astaxanthin and 50 mg vitamin C per two-gummy serving. The current product page describes a vegan peach-mango formula.

PROS

  • — Published per-serving quantities for the featured actives.

CONS

  • — Check AUD pricing, renewal charges, allergens and delivery.

Before you choose: The one-month subscription displays €47.99, while a one-off pack is €89.99. First-delivery and renewal terms can differ, and the page mixes currency references. The sleep-related wording on the supplied artwork is not evidence of a sleep benefit.

04 / How we scored

Five checks.
One clear score.

We rated the product information a shopper can verify—not the result a gummy might deliver.

Each category earns 1 point for clear information, 0.5 for partial or provisional information, or 0 when we could not verify it in the reviewed sources. Equal totals can hide different strengths and gaps.

Each category earns 1 point for clear information, 0.5 for partial or provisional information, or 0 when we could not verify it in the reviewed sources. The total is out of 5. This is a snapshot of the pages and label images we reviewed, not an assessment of manufacturing quality or clinical results.

Asuno 1 1 1 0.5 0.5 4 / 5
  • Golden Glow: proposed actives and quantities, with the final base ingredients and suitability label still pending.
  • BRONZ'D: the vitamin A / beta-carotene row needs clarification; allergen coverage was not established.
  • Andie: full ingredients and cautions, but quantified carotenoid amounts were not found.
  • The Euro Tan: a serving-based nutrient panel, but a complete base-ingredient list and specific suitability guidance were not established.
  • Asuno: published quantities; mixed currency references and first-versus-renewal pricing need checking, alongside allergens.

A missing detail here means it was not verified in our reviewed material—not that the brand cannot supply it. Equal totals can hide different strengths and gaps.

Publisher disclosure

This brand-led guide features Golden Glow, but the same scoring rules apply to every product. Scores are not customer-review averages or assessments of manufacturing quality, clinical results or regulatory approval.

05 / Before you choose

Choose clarity before a promise.

A carotenoid glow isn’t a UV tan.

Research links carotenoid intake with changes in skin yellowness and redness. That does not establish a bronzed result from these five gummies, or prove that one works better than another. The six-week dietary study cited here involved fruit and vegetables—not these finished products.

Read the complete label.

A well-explained formula makes comparison easier. It still does not tell us which of these gummies will change your skin colour—or by how much. Check the daily serving, allergens and suitability information.

Compare the whole cost.

Check pack duration, delivery, currency and whether a displayed offer starts a subscription. For products in development, check the final launch price and label.

06 / Frequently asked questions

Tanning gummies FAQs.

Do tanning gummies actually work?

Carotenoids can affect skin colour, but the evidence should not be stretched into a guarantee for a particular gummy. The dietary study cited here did not test these products. We found no head-to-head clinical comparison in the reviewed sources, so we cannot name an efficacy winner or promise a timeline.

Do gummies replace sunscreen?

No. Do not use these products as sun protection or increase UV exposure to “activate” them. Cancer Council recommends broad-spectrum, water-resistant SPF 50 or 50+ alongside clothing, a hat, shade and sunglasses. Read Cancer Council’s guidance.

Are they suitable for everyone?

No. Suitability depends on the ingredients, amounts, allergies, other supplements and your health. High-dose beta-carotene trials have found increased lung-cancer risk in some current or former smokers and asbestos-exposed groups. That evidence is a reason to check with a clinician—not to assume all formulas carry an identical risk.

Check before starting if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or managing a health condition, and follow the product’s restrictions. Marine collagen also matters for fish allergies. Read the NIH evidence summary.

Can more gummies give faster results?

A larger serving is not a shortcut established by this review. Follow the final product label and avoid stacking products with overlapping ingredients without advice. Excess beta-carotene can cause yellow-orange skin discolouration; higher numbers should not be read as a better rating.

Why isn’t Golden Glow rated 5 out of 5?

Being our featured product does not change the scoring rules. Its current page is clear about development status, but a proposed formula is not a final label. The provisional 3.5/5 reflects that missing information, not a verdict on the future finished product.
